Ganpatipule is a small town located in the Ratnagiri district on the Konkan coast of Maharashtra, in the sub-continent of India. The town of Chiplun is located to its north. About 35 km from Ganapatipule lies the district head office town of Ratnagiri. This region has a long famous past and is even mentioned in Indian legends.
